Final Division Recap

The 2026 Summer Tuesday 8-Ball session is officially in the books, with Rack Em Up finishing on top with 31.0 rounds after a season built around consistency, lineup depth and an ability to turn close matches into standings points.

Behind the champions, the race stayed interesting right through the final night.

Classic Rock and Hot Shots finished tied at 24.5 rounds, with Classic Rock taking fourth on the games-won tiebreaker, 156 to 152.

Rack Em Up Gets the Job Done

Rack Em Up had already secured first place before the final week and finishes the Summer with a comfortable 4.5-round advantage.

Herb McSpadden, Bill Reid and Bob Wood provided a steady foundation throughout the session, while the team also showed enough depth to continue producing when substitutes were needed.

Rack Em Up may not have led the division in overall individual-game winning percentage, but no team was better at converting its results into the rounds that ultimately decide the standings.

Average Joe Makes a Major Jump

Average Joe closed the session with a 2–1 victory over Classic Rock, moving into second place by just half a round.

Mario Barrette’s 56-point final night helped secure the finish, while Chris Bateman completed another excellent session at approximately 71%.

The result represents one of the biggest team improvements from the Winter session, when Average Joe finished eighth. Moving from 8th in Winter to 2nd in Summer is an impressive turnaround.

Blues Cues Finishes Third

Blues Cues led the division in individual games won but a pair of late-season losses dropped them to third, just half a round behind Average Joe.

Individually, the team still produced an outstanding Summer. Greg Stewart finished with the division’s leading regular-player win percentage at approximately 85%, while Henry Koster finished around 71%.

Blues Cues’ 169 individual game wins shows just how strong the team was game-to-game, even if those wins did not always translate into enough rounds.

Classic Rock Wins the Tiebreaker

Classic Rock and Hot Shots both finished at 24.5 rounds, making the league’s games-won tiebreaker necessary.

Classic Rock’s 156 game wins edged Hot Shots’ 152, giving Classic Rock fourth place.

Sergio Pingitore led another strong season for Classic Rock at approximately 66%, helping the team improve from fifth in the Winter session to fourth this Summer.

Hot Shots Finishes Strong

Hot Shots ended a difficult late-season stretch with a 2–1 victory over GTA Boys.

The final night included perfect 60-point performances from Mike Draker and Mark Thompson, with Draker completing the session at approximately 71% and Thompson around 62%.

Despite slipping one position from their fourth-place Winter finish, Hot Shots remained one of the division’s most dangerous teams throughout the Summer.

Bonnie’s Makes a Big Move

Bonnie’s Ball Breakers finished sixth at 22.5 rounds, but that result represents another significant improvement.

Bonnie’s had finished 11th during the Winter session, making their move to sixth one of the largest jumps in the division.

Shane Lawrence closed the session with a perfect 60-point night and finished around 65%, while JP Joseph and Dave Read also provided solid production throughout the Summer.

Individual Highlights

The Summer session featured plenty of strong individual performances.

Behind the overall leader, Henry Koster, Chris Bateman and Mike Draker all finished around the 71% mark, while Sergio Pingitore, Shane Lawrence, Herb McSpadden, Mark Thompson and Mario Barrette were among several others turning in strong winning records.

The final week also gave us three perfect 60-point performances from Mike Draker, Mark Thompson and Shane Lawrence.

From Rack Em Up’s consistency at the top, to Average Joe’s climb from eighth to second, Bonnie’s jump from 11th to sixth and a fourth-place finish decided by only four individual games, the Summer Tuesday 8-Ball session provided plenty of movement right through the finish.
